Introduction
Since November 2000, the Institute of Public Health (IPH) implemented
a continuous data validation process in order to evaluate the accuracy
and validity of the data reported to the national surveillance of
nosocomial infections in intensive care units.
First
results have been presented on a seminar at the IPH and at the
4th IFIC congress in Malta on November 11, 2003 (4th IFIC congress):
